Chartered in 1977, the Kiwanis Club of Wawasee is a group of volunteers dedicated to improving the Syracuse-Wawasee Community. We meet at 7:00AM every Saturday at the Syracuse Community Center.

Our Kiwanis club members engage in community service initiatives. This fosters a sense of unity, drives positive change, and profoundly enriches the lives of individuals in our community.
- Dr. Suess Week- donate and read books to Preschool and Kindergarten
- Adopt a Highway Cleanup- we cleanup along SR13 a few times a year
- Santa's Breakfast- we cook and serve breakfast to the community
- Hot Shots Competition (Basketball shoot out)- Middle School Students
- Snowmobile Races
- Old Fashioned Christmas (parking crew)
- Wawasee Summer League- Baseball Concessions
- Organize and deliver family food boxes during the holidays
- Teen Parents Succeeding- maintenance and yard work
- Tour D Des Lakes (set up & water station)
- Triathlon (run all stations)
